Keith, who stuck around after headlining a sold-outpavilion show the night before, opened with a deceptively prettyfolk tune about a cave-dwelling Taliban couple and ended with hiswarmongering hit "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The AngryAmerican)." He managed to earn a few points with the pacifists byproffering a hilarious ode to Nelsons legendary pot-smokinghabits, complete with sly plug for Willies new legallyintoxicating product: Old Whiskey River bourbon. Nelson was invitedonstage for the serenade, then duetted with Keith on "Whiskey forMy Men and Beer for My Horses."Nelsons first appearance actually Cheap Rosetta Stone V3 came during Lee Ann Womacksopening set.
